Known as one of the country’s premier storage facilities for art, antiques, and other high-value items, the Fortress Building is also a local icon, recognized throughout Boston for its impressive presence and inflatable lock and chain. John B. Cruz Construction served as the general contractor for this cutting-edge and highly specialized eight-story, steel-and-concrete building. The complex project involved constructing a highly secure enclosure incorporating advanced fire suppression systems, a series of private vaults ranging from 16 to over 1000 square feet, and onsite facility management spaces.
